The Venefit Procedure (previously called VNUS Closure)

This is another procedure that renders the veins incapable of carrying blood at all. A catheter with electrodes on the tip is inserted into the vein. The current from the electrodes burns the interior of the vein and destroys the tissue. This procedure is called VNUS Closure® when radiofrequency energy is used.
