Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome is a congenital syndrome with several features :


  1. port wine stain on the lateral (outside) surface of the thigh
  2. varicose veins
  3. hypertrophy of the lower extremity (unilateral or one sided)


There is new literature tht shows that there is considerable reduction in the bulk of the veins can be treated with ultrasound guided sclerotherapy.
