Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome
Tuesday, November 27, 2012

Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is a congenital disorder affecting one limb and consists of a skin nevus on the outside of the thigh, extensive varicose veins (predominantly on the outside of the thigh - lateral surface) and hypertrophy of the limb.

Management of KT syndrome patients is tough and individualized. More recently added to the armamentarium of procedures is ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy.
